Delivery Driver - Part Time

XOXO Aberdeen is an award winning Florist based in Peterculter, Aberdeen. To help with increased demand, we're on the lookout for some help with our deliveries around Aberdeen city and shire.  ​ ​

The role
You'll be in charge of delivering customer's flower orders within our delivery radius in Aberdeen. This is a part-time role with flexible hours between Monday - Saturday, typically 9.30am - 12.30pm but this varies depending on volume of deliveries each day as well as the candidates availability. 

You'll need to be 25+ years old for insurance purposes and have a standard drivers license with no convictions. 

We'll supply everything you need and full training will be provided. We offer a competitive hourly salary or a per delivery fee.
 

Due to an extremely busy upcoming wedding season, XOXO is currently recruiting for an experienced Florist to join our passionate team. You will initially be working part-time, including weekends, assisting with wedding & event venue set up as well as working in our busy retail unit. All applicants must be passionate about floristry, offer a high-level of customer service and have strong team working skills.

All applicants must also have:

• Previous experience working in a busy retail Florist 
• The ability to create modern bouquets similar to those featured on our website
• The ability to create bouquets quickly while under pressure 

It would be beneficial for applicants to have:

• Experience in creating funeral floristry  
• Experience in creating table centres and corporate arrangements 
• Experience in wedding floristry including Bridal Bouquets, Buttonholes and Corsages 
• A clean drivers license 

General duties will include:

• Serving customers in our busy retail shop in Peterculter
• Taking customers orders via phone, in-store and online
• Creating bouquets and other floristry arrangements to order
• Assisting in all aspects of weddings including delivery, venue decoration & set up 
• Assisting in all aspects of corporate events including delivery, venue decoration & set up
• General cleaning of the retail unit, stand and glassware.
